Open Geocoding data in Poland

Maciej Sieczka proposed that I write here in English as my Polish vocabulary is limited to about 5 words. He also very nicely proposed to translate if necessary.

I am a geographer at the Free University of Brussels (ULB) and am currently busy doing research on firms across Europe. In that context, I am trying to make an inventory of freely available geocoding solution across European countries, ideally based on official data. Pushed by the INSPIRE directive more and more countries have opened up their data and localised address information is becoming more and more available (I already have identified such data in Great Britain, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Spain), either in the form of downloadable data, and/or in the form of freely accessible web services.

So, I would like to ask if any of you know of such data (often based on cadaster data) or of such developments in Poland ? Any hints or links would be welcome.

Moritz zwrócił się z tym pytaniem do mnie ale ja nie bardzo jestem w temacie, więc umówiliśmy się, że zapyta tutaj a ja przetłumaczę jego post (poniżej) i w razie potrzeby pomogę w tłumaczeniu dyskusji. Pomożecie?

Jestem geografem na Free University of Brussels (ULB) i obecnie zajmuję się inwentaryzacją wolno-dostępnych rozwiązań geokodowania, najlepiej opartych na danych oficjalnych, wśród firm z krajów europejskich. Z powodu dyrektywy INSPIRE coraz więcej krajów otwiera swoje dane i zlokalizowane dane adresowe stają się coraz szerzej dostępne (odnalazłem takie dane w Wielkiej Brytanii, Holandii, Belgii, Francji i Hiszpanii) w postaci danych do ściągnięcia przez Internet i/lub jako wolno-dostępnych serwisów webowych.

Chciałbym zatem zapytać, czy znane są wam tego rodzaju zasoby (często oparte na danych katastralnych) lub informacje na temat powstawania takich zasobów w Polsce.

We (Geo-System) made a geocoding service that uses address data from over 400 gminas (municipalities) in Poland. What's important - these data are official, the most current and continuously updated.
